A project about resonating "Sound".

it explores the poetry of the journey of the Xinghai revolution 1911.

As sound cannot be measured, it can only travel. the project brief is about going on the journey of how basho experiences the cartography poetry journey of haiku. It is inspired by the concept of moving sound decibels form by the traveling sound.

The site is situated in Zhongshan park and the Memorial hall museum. 

The design intervention is to create a new extension adaptive reused structure of the museum and park for better usage of the memorial hall museum.

The concept was a new underground space for the people to appreciate the war ambiance history. Different voids slit the cutting ground like a map of the sound waves of war. The war gives off a musical piano note that is arranged in a verticle piano chord sheet to resemble sound. The spaces are designed the same notion of curvature and waveform of the narrow tunnel creating a silent and tranquil environment of time.

Thus, going the underground spaces gave a new experience and user-friendly environment surrounded field of enjoyable flowering plants and therapeutic environment.
